Hannah Johannes

Attorney & Advisor

Hannah Johannes serves as the co-lead of GwC’s Sports, Entertainment, and Technology practice. She advises celebrities, startups, and high-growth companies across multiple industries, including, sports, entertainment, technology, beauty, and fashion. Her practice spans talent representation, corporate counseling, governance, tech licensing, venture capital, and mergers & acquisitions.  

Prior to joining GwC, Hannah worked as an attorney at an AM200 law firm in Houston, Texas, where she represented talent management companies, major and independent record labels, fashion designers, startups, and global brands. Additionally, during her time at Thurgood Marshall School of Law, she held two terms as president of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society, served as an associate editor for the Thurgood Marshall Law Review, and interned with the legal departments of the National Football League.
